Ben Miller
Ben Miller is our program director. He graduated from Morgan Township High School, and Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, with a degree in Urban Ministry. He previously has worked with youth in short term and long term settings in Kouts, IN, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, and in Mexico.
Gary & Gwen Miller
Gary Miller has a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Iowa and spent his career working at Walgreens. Now retired, Gary spends the majority of his time serving at Urban Faith Works and helping manage the operations of our organization.
Gwen Miller has a degree in Social Work from Goshen College and is a full-time volunteer at Urban Faith Works. Gwen is responsible for coordinating everything from our volunteers, to our snacks, to our facility.

Sue Birky
Sue graduated from Kouts High School, Kouts, IN and attended Goshen College, Goshen, IN. She, and her husband John, own and operate a grain and seed corn farm near Wanatah, IN. She has worked with children’s programs for many years and she and John are members at Open Door Fellowship. Sue serves as vice president.
Andrea Black
Andrea was born and raised in Gary, IN and graduated from River Forest High School in Hobart, IN. She studied Business Administration and Accounting at Indiana University Northwest where she received awards for excellence in her field of study. Andrea participated in this program and continues to volunteer, serving as Treasurer.
Gary Miller
Gary graduated from Iowa Mennonite School, attended Goshen College and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and was a pharmacist for Walgreens in Hobart, IN prior to retiring last year. He serves as president as well as working at GCH several days per week.
Rachel Gotshall
Rachel graduated from Morgan Twp High School, and Butler University, Indianapolis, IN with a degree in marketing, having worked specifically with non-profits. She is currently a Solutions Consultant for Mobi Wireless Management. She and her husband Scott live in Indianapolis and are members of Eagle Church.
Gwen Miller
Gwen graduated from Hebron High School and Goshen College, Goshen, IN, with a degree in social work. She worked as administrative assistant in Pediatrics at University of Iowa Hospitals. Gwen has worked with children and youth programs for over 30 years and is full time at GCH and serves as secretary.
Cory Smith
Cory grew up in Gary and graduated from Rich South High School in Richton Park, IL. She received her cosmetology license in 2000. Cory reentered student life in 2006 and completed her B.A. at DePaul University in Chicago with a concentration in human and animal science and continued her education in veterinary medicine at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
